Nimrod Cockpit – RAF Museum, Cosford
This view shows the cockpit of the Nimrod on display at the RAF Museum, Cosford, Shifnal, TF11 8UP. The Nimrod was retired from service in 2011, after operating for over 40 years. Given the importance of the aircraft and its contribution to the frontline, RAF Cosford was determined to acquire an example for exhibition. The aircraft is now on permanent display to the public at the RAF Museum Cosford, which is open daily from 10am and admission is free of charge. This is a great day out for all the family.
